Rietjiesbos Self Catering is one of the highest rated accommodation properties in Graaff Reinet and is sure to make you feel right at home. The five self catering units lead out onto the garden where you can relax or have a braai in the shade of two majestic trees. Rietjiesbos Self Catering is a 15 minute walk from the nearest restaurants. The art galleries, museums, churches and national monuments in Graaff Reinet are also within easy walking distance. Secure off-street parking behind an automated gate will keep your vehicles and trailers safe.
Graaff-Reinet was established in 1786 and is named after the Dutch governor of the Cape Colony at the time: Cornelis Jacob van de Graaf and his wife Cornelia Reynet. It is the oldest town in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa and boasts a rich and turbulent history. There are over 200 listed heritage sites waiting to be explored. Graaff-Reinet is surrounded by the Camdeboo National Park within which the stunning Valley of Desolation can be found!

"The decor is charming and has the personal touch of the owner- it establishes a very welcoming ambience at Rietjiesbos self catering accommodation. We did not want for a single thing - from electric blankets to luxurious crisp cotton linen and big soft pillows and extra blankets an ironing board and iron and hairdryer! Plenty of plugs to charge cellphones and laptops. The owners are friendly and very helpful. recommending an excellent local restaurant and even booking our table".
